An Italian-French owned iconic fashion label. Gucci was founded by Guccio Gucci, (1881 – 1953), in Florence in 1906.
In 1921, Guccio Gucci opens a leather goods company and small luggage store in Florence.Gucci expanded and a boutique was opened in Rome in 1938. Guccio was responsible for designing many of the company’s products.
